I went to to Holland last night to go to the Gregory Orr reading, walked through downtown alone and thought about everything and just could not do it.

Drove home and went to sleep.

That everything must be heavy, but the pic you posted of Orr, I would be afraid to be in the same room with him!

Everything is a lot to think about. I don't know Orr's work well, so I don't know what you missed, but I for one am always up for a walk instead of a sit.

I've done that before, though I still sort of regret not making to the 6 hour Takacs Quartet marathon in AA. Next life, maybe.

I take it that "AA" means "Ann Arbor."

There are very few Quartet Marathons in Alcoholics Anonymous.

Well, if there were string quartets in Al Anon then it would certainly be more fun to abstain!

No, I meant the home of Blimpy Burgers (and the J.D. I'm still paying off (nearly finished))...

Another Law Quad Veteran infected by poetry!

Michigan turns out more poets (Lawrence Joseph, Olena Kalytiak Davis, etc.) than any other law school. I suspect that is caused by the Harry Potter-esque architecture of the Quad.
