Note to Self

Wear a hat, a coat; get an umbrella.

You are too old to careen around in shirtsleeves in an October rainstorm.

See, and I've been telling myself get a coat! You am too young to go careening around the city in shirt sleeves. My constitution is not yet that strong.

Stay warm.

You are never too young or too old to go careening about in shirtsleeves. The important bit is the careening.

Though there is snow due here today, so maybe I am talking through my nonexistent hat.

You could add a scarf to that list, Greg!

Hadley's preschool teacher put a note in each student's cubby hole for us parents: "Please remember to dress your child in a hat and mittens; it is now cold outside." Luckily, I remembered today, so I wasn't the bad mommy.
